I prepared my candidate dissertation on my own, without a scientific adviser and with no financial support from the state or any official institution. Thanks to the fact that some outstanding Bulgarian scholars interceded for me, I was admitted to public defence of my dissertation where a scientific degree was unanimously conferred on me. This was the start in my professional carrer
