I am broadly interested in ecology and evolution, but tend to focus on plant-feeding insects and their interactions with plants. This focus is partly due to insect-plant interactions being ubiquitous in terrestrial ecosystems, incredibly diverse, and of significant ecological and economic importance. However, the main reason I focus on herbivorous insects and their interactions with plants is that they are fascinating and truly enjoyable to study.
