Part of the The Eleventh Biennial Conference of the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas (AMTA 2014), WPTP-3 takes place immediately before the TAUS Annual Conference 2014 (October 27 & 28) and Localization World (October 29 - 31).

Following the success of WPTP-1, held in San Diego (USA) as part of the AMTA 2012 conference, and of WPTP-2, held in Nice (France), as part of MT Summit XIV, we are organizing a third edition of the Workshop on Post-editing Technology and Practice!

Once again, WPTP will be an opportunity for post-editing practitioners and researchers to get together and openly discuss the weaknesses and strengths of existing technology, to assess post-editing effectiveness, to establish better practices, and propose tools and technological solutions that are built around the needs of post-editors. In addition to presentations of original research work, posters and demos, this year's edition features a panel discussion on the future of post-editing, moderated by AMTA president Mike Dillinger!
