We have gathered together a vast amount of information about the policemen and women who have served in the various police forces of the county. We still need more, and welcome any contributions of stories, documents, photographs and any other information. If you are considering throwing out any items connected to the police then please contact us first. We can help with copying and intend to preserve  police memorabilia safely.

We now get enquiries from all over the world - mainly for family history information - but also for television programmes and to help authors researching books.

All queries and contact will be responded to but we have found that our responses can end up in junk/spam folders and sometimes be blocked altogether. If you haven't had a response after two weeks, please do try again.
