본 연구실은 무한하고 깨끗한 에너지원인 태양광을 활용하여 친환경적인 유기합성법을 개발 연구에 주력하고 있다. 태양광에서 풍부한 가시광선을 흡수할 수 있는 가시광선 광촉매를 사용하여 다양한 탄소-탄소 결합 반응 개발하고, 이를 응용한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 또한, 생리활성 분자를 합성하고 이를 바탕으로 한 신약 개발 연구도 진행 중이다.

Green Organic Synthesis Laboratory focuses on developing environmentally friendly organic synthetic methodology using abundant and clean solar energy, which is an infinite and clean energy source. By utilizing visible-light photocatalysts that can absorb abundant visible light from solar energy, we are developing various carbon-carbon forming reactions and conducting applied research based on these reactions. Additionally, we are actively engaged in synthesizing bioactive molecules and using them as a basis for drug development.
