Exterior Paint Reference Guide

The community of Woodbridge Crossing has a color standard for the exterior of the houses.  The standard is meant to provide a variety of appealing colors for the community while preserving the curb appeal of the homes.

If you are painting the exterior Trim: If the color is staying the same, there is no need for an ACC request form or approval.  (If your existing trim color is not on the acceptable color list, restoration back to the builders original colors would achieve neighborhood consistancy & fluidity.) Changing the color requires approval and an ACC request form to be submitted.  Also, prior to deciding on a color, we recommend that you view the houses near you and consider keeping a different color scheme than your neighbors.

If you are painting the exterior Front Door:  Front doors are intended to contrast favorably  with the overall color of the house and should not be the same color as the trim or siding. (If your door color is not on the acceptable color list, it is recommended that you restore it back to an original color.)

If you are replacing Exterior Siding: Changing the siding of your home requires approval and an ACC request form must be submitted to Management.  WCHOA has utilized McCormick Paint Swatches for color reference purposes only. We recommend utilizing the following McCormick paint colors to match your contractors siding samples.  Painting your siding is not acceptable.

If you are painting your Garage Door: It must match your trim color as long as they are both acceptable colors.  If your trim color is not listed under acceptable garage door colors, it is recommended to choose a neutral or the same color as your siding.

Acceptable Colors are listed below.  Should your home be a different color than the listed colors, your home may have be "grandfathered" in based on a prior approval from the HOA.  If "grandfathered", you may repaint the exterior colors the same color without ACC approval.  However, restoration back to the builders original colors would achieve neighborhood consistency and fluidity.

Please be advised that utilizing McCormick paint is not a requirement.  All paint brands can easily be mixed to match the acceptable colors as long as you provide then with the brand name (McCormick) and a color number.
