Course Description

Prepares the student for managing a network and servers. It covers planning, installation and configuration, as well as monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing.

Grading

There will be 11 assignments during the course of the semester. Assignments will involve installing, configuring, and managing services and protocols in a virtual machine environment. Each assignment will include a detailed description of the problems and expectations for successful completion.

In addition, there will a term paper and 2 exams (including the final exam).
