Welcome!

This site is coordinated by the BurningSnow Center for the Experimental Arts,  in Milwaukee, which is a program of the Institute For Thought, Inc, a Wisconsin arts nonprofit since 2003.
For over 20 years we have helped Wisconsin people get to Burning Man, and connect with it's year-round culture. We get together to make experimental art pieces and alternative energy technologies, and new cultural forms.

Ongoing Events include get-togethers most every Sunday at 7pm at the BurningSnow Center, 2578 N. Weil Street Milwaukee. Besides the general meetings are planning meetings, Build Events, classes, and hands-on workshops, covering everything from laser art, to talking interactive sculptures, to solar energy systems and greywater reclamation techniques. All free and open to the public. Get involved and join the fun!
