Refurbishment of WFOSPS signposts

Arthur Cheetham (who is also our Membership Secretary) has undertaken the refurbishment of our

black and white fingerposts. He is clearing them, so they are more visible as well as repainting them.

The photos show an example of his recent work.

We are also keen to build up our knowledge of the signposts. If you have any tidbits or anecdotes

about the placement (or replacement after WW2) or upkeep of the signs please get in touch
