Welcome!

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at YaleMy research seeks to inform the design and evaluation of economic policies aimed at improving the lives of low-income households, with a focus on housing policy. To do so, I combine frontier econometric methods, original data collection, and administrative datasets.

I graduated from the University of Chicago with a PhD in economics in 2019. Prior to joining Yale, I was a Saieh Family Research Fellow at the Becker Friedman Institute and an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Harvard. I also studied at the London School of Economics and at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.

I am a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and I'm affiliated with Opportunity Insights, the Inclusive Economy Lab, the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities, the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE).
