Moira Smiley Workshop

Moira Smiley, visiting musician of Vermont in the US, taught two Appallachian songs "Oh Watch The Stars" and "Meeting Is Over" and one of Moira's most powerful songs, "Refugee", inspired by her time volunteering in refugee camps. She told us the history of the songs and had us singing beautiful harmonies that delighted the 70+ attendees.

The public workshop at our home, The Bridge Church in Williamstown, presented by CMVic and Willin Wimmin, was the first of Moira's Melbourne workshops and a Winter Harmony Concert in Brunswick.

We were honoured to sing again for ARMS - Association Representing Women Separated by Adoption - they have changed their name to better reflect their experiences - their children were not relinquished as the legal documents suggest. Where We've Performed

Over the years we have sung at many political, sport, art, health and women’s issues events which took us to a variety of venues such as:

Community issues and events are always at the forefront of our philosophy. Some of the many places we have sung for:

Individuals have also performed in theatrical productions and mass singing events:

We have, very importantly, also just sung for each other, in times of sadness, joy, longing, celebration and always with love.
