Objective
I seek a long term contract (1099, W2, or Corp2Corp), contract to permanent or a permanent position as an application architect, lead software engineer, senior software engineer, or software engineer. Also willing to accept telecommuting remote work to be preformed from my home with occasional on-site work. I am also available as a technology consultant, data/application security consultant, and mentor. I would be willing to consider participating in speculative web ventures. I am open to relocating to just about anywhere for just about any length of time. I especially like Monterey, San Jose, San Francisco, Dallas, Tallahassee, Atlanta, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale and am willing to consider relocating to one of these or other places. Ability to work on a challenging project in a team setting with a company following industry best practices is preferred.

During this contract I single-handedly wrote an extension to their DOS based server modem communications program, allowing non-modem based communication directly through a network. This network communication extended to both 16-bit Windows client and a new 32-bit next generation Internet Banking system currently in development.

The project involved creating a multi-user scheduling and resource allocation for the purposes of infantry scheduling at Army bases around the United States. During Beta testing, I became responsible for distributing the software via the Internet to other Army base locations. Also, beta testers were able to send bug reports via e-mail. OLE 2.01 automation, ODBC 2.0, and the Q&E Clipper ODBC driver were used in creating the TATSS windows drag and drop, relational, and object-oriented GUI. Achieved the respect of my team and successfully integrated myself into the team.
