Primary system (100 percent c#) allowed the deployment and configuration of over 1000 internal applications across over 2000 servers by only 200 people around the globe (India, Florida, New York, California, and Texas). Said system had complete web-based historical tracking (asp.net / vb.net & c# upgraded from ASP/VBA) at the per server level and on a per user basis. The entire system (5 web sites, 2 windows services, 1 smart client) was conceived, created, and maintained solely by myself over the course of about 3 years. It is the single largest internal application at Verizon by approximately 8 times.

Firm Solutions

Created HTML File Walker and a Visual Basic add-in Slice and Dice. Web master for firmsolutions.com and callmarshall.com. One of my many accomplishments was to create an e-mail based remote database synchronization program allowing multiple users at multiple sites to send in (Access) database change requests to a central location via e-mail and then propagate those changes both to the local and central databases. Currently researching Linux technologies and Crystal Reports.

Greentree Systems

                 Full time employee

Designing, coding, debugging in a small satellite office environment. Primarily using Visual Basic 6 Enterprise, SQL Server 7.0, IIS, ASP, MTS, and Visual InterDev 6 to facilitate the conversion of 54 business objects into transactional MTS components for “iGreentree” a Human Resources web-based management system.

Sterling Commerce
                 Senior Consultant – Software Engineer
                 Addison, Texas
                 August 1998 to February 1999

Primarily using Turbo Pascal 7, Visual Basic 5 and 6, Visual C++ 5, Access 2.0, Access 8.0, two custom scripting languages, and Delphi 3 to maintain a application suite consisting of over one million lines of code. I was the primary source code maintainer for the DOS and Windows clients and the DOS server. The application suite is used by 99 of the top 100 banks in America (over 450 banks total). During this contract I single-handedly wrote an extension to their DOS based server modem communications program, allowing non-modem based communication directly through a network. This network communication extended to both 16-bit Windows client and a new 32-bit next generation Internet Banking system currently in development.

Computer Professional Staffing

United States Army
                 O2 Computer Programmer
                 U.S. Army, Fort Benning, Georgia
                 October 1994 to June 1995
Contract through Computer Data Systems, Inc

Primarily using Visual Basic 3.0 and Visual C++ 1.51 in a Windows 3.11, Workgroups, and Windows NT environment on a Banyan Vines network connected to the Internet. The project involved creating a multi-user scheduling and resource allocation for the purposes of infantry scheduling at Army bases around the United States. During Beta testing, I became responsible for distributing the software via the Internet to other Army base locations. Also, beta testers were able to send bug reports via e-mail. OLE 2.01 automation, ODBC 2.0, and the Q&E Clipper ODBC driver were used in creating the TATSS windows drag and drop, relational, and object-oriented GUI. Achieved the respect of my team and successfully integrated myself into the team.

Larry S. Wolfe, CPA and CritiqueCo
                 Senior Software Engineer
                 Tallahassee, Florida
                 October 1987 to October 1991

CritiqueCo performs mystery shopping for many industries and reports on quality of products and service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Designing, coding, and debugging, primarily using Turbo C / C++ in a MS-DOS environment. The projects involved creating several programs for the entry, business interpretation, and executive summary of mystery shopping information provided for various industries. Literally hundreds of different reports, graphs, and years of data were compiled to this end. While there I created "SIMPLE", an easy to process report generation language that was capable of processing years of data that had changing formats from month to month. This was my first job as a computer programmer and I successfully implemented and integrated several complete software solutions.
