I am a Senior Lecturer at the Applied Research and Innovation Centre within the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, where I conduct research, lecture and supervise Masters and Doctorate students, as well as coordinate the Quantitative Research Hub.

I am also an External Research Fellow at the Centre for Finance, Credit and Macroeconomics within the University of Nottingham. I have a PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham, with a thesis titled Essays on household loan-to-value macroprudential policy.

My career includes 16 years at the Central Bank of Malta, where I led research into cyclical risk identification using early warning models, the housing market, macroprudential policy, household saving behaviour, economic forecasting and structural (DSGE) economic modelling
