I am an Senior Lecturer at the Applied Research and Innovation Centre within the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, where I conduct research, lecture and supervise Masters and Doctorate students. I am also an External Research Fellow at the Centre for Finance, Credit and Macroeconomics within the University of Nottingham. I have a PhD in economics from the University of Nottingham, with a thesis titled Essays on household loan-to-value macroprudential policy.
My career includes 16 years at the Central Bank of Malta, where I led research on the identification of cyclical risks using early warning models, macroprudential policy, household saving behaviour, forecasting and DSGE modelling.
