Hello and Welcome. My name is Milo and I have been a Mechanical Engineer for 15 years specializing in the fields of Air, Land and Ship Born Rugged Electronics, Automotive, DOD, Elevator Controls, Electric Bikes and Conceptual Design as well as 4 years experience as a Machinist. Mechanical Engineering is my passion and it shows in my motivation to help you create the absolute best design possible.

Rather you are an individual with an idea or a large company looking to contract an engineer for a period of time, I'd like to see how I can aid you. I am Multi-talented, hands-on, flexible and creative. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any inquires.

Concept Design: My personal Favorite part of engineering. Bring your idea to me and I'll help you turn it into reality. Complete confidentiality. I believe in honesty and a hand shake but I will sign a confidentiality agreement regardless.

CAD Modeling: The modern day engineer's right hand. Computer Aided Drafting has taken engineering to a new level. what used to take countless hours of drawing by hand can now be done in far less time and in 3D. Watch your concept come to life on the computer.

Analysis: Where an engineer truly proves his worth. Analysis is paramount to a successful design. Be it Structural, Thermal, Weight and Balance, shock and vibration, EMI/RFI, or even cost, whatever analysis is required will be done by hand, computer or both and presented in a professional document.

Drawings and Documents: Once we have a finalized design, professional drawings and documents will be produced and delivered. These can be formatted as you see fit, quick drafts or full drawings and document packages with your company name on them.

DFM: My experience as a Machinist and hands on experience of all aspects of design production from proposal through installation will be applied to your project ensuring you products are designed with manufacturability in mind. 

Prototype Creation: I work closely with a family member who owns and operates a machine shop and has been in business for 40+ years. We are very flexible and look forward to helping you take your idea from paper (or computer) to a physical prototype. We enjoy those one-off projects as well as production runs. 3D printing also available. 

Patent Protection: A well designed product should be protected. I've written 3 patents and can aid you in filing yours.

- 3D designer of sheet metal and machined parts.

- Electromagnetic enclosures, shielding and testing.       

- Air flow, heat transfer, and heating/cooling design for electronic equipment and enclosures.

      - Project and lead experience; write bids, proposals, customer instructions, compliance reports, cost details, BOM creation, test procedures,  

         manufacturing instructions, design analysis documentation, etc.

      - 12+ years daily experience with CAD: Solid Works (Simulation, Cosmos, FloWorks, Routing, PDMworks)

      - Experience with other CAD & business software: Working Model 2D, Nastran 4D, Algore FEA, AutoCAD, MathCAD, Matlab; MSOffice: Excel, Word, 

         Power Point.
