The Wild Bill Racing Circuit - WBRC
The WBRC-Wild Bill Racing Circuit is an organization for racing vintage single cylinder (one lunger) snowmobiles. There are four classes in each regular race: Relic, HR, HD & Enticer. There are three classes for the Wild Bill 20: HR, HD, & MOD (Willow River Stock).
RULES:
General rules of racing…
-Tech inspections are mandatory before every race. You MUST have a working tether switch/cord and brakes. Inspections will be at starting line before drivers meeting.
-Top three finishers in each class will be teched after the race.
-All racers and participants must accept and respect the officials’ decisions.
-There will be NO alcohol or drug use by drivers or pit crew before or during the race.
-Helmets are required during racing and warm up. Use of Tech vests is recommended but not mandatory.
-Tether must be mounted on motor or chassis, NOT to handle bars. Tether must be hooked to the driver at all times while the machine is running.
-A track stand should be shielded to prevent debris flying or the track should be pointed in a safe direction away from people while revving your engine.
-No excessive speed in the pit area.
-No unaccompanied children in the pit area.
-Rubbing and bumping happens, but aggressive driving WILL NOT be tolerated.
-Lap traffic should allow faster traffic time to pass. Faster traffic should be courteous to lap traffic.
-All general flagging rules apply. Talk to flagman on race day with any questions.
-NO cutting corners. The staking lath are not suggestions they mark the inside of the course turns and edge of course on straights.
-Re-fueling MUST take place in the pit area. If you run out of gas on the course you MUST be towed in and re-fuel. NO extra gas can be carried on the sled during the race.
-The only repairs allowed on the race course during the race are changing spark plugs and changing drive belts. Spark plugs and drive belts MUST be carried on sled for this to be allowed. i.e. New spark plugs and drive belts CANNOT be brought out to the sled from the pits. If the sled isn't carrying new plugs or drive belts it MUST be towed in to the pits and then repaired. ALL other repairs must be done in the pit area.
-PITTING & TOW-IN.... -If you are pitting you MUST enter the pit area through the entrance and leave out the exit to start your next lap. If you are getting towed in or riding a disabled sled into the pits (not completing the entire race course for that lap) you may enter the pits on either end (entrance preferred) as long as it is done safely. You MUST leave the pit area out the exit and start a new lap. Leaving the pit area and heading to the transponder antenna WILL result in a black flag for that sled/racer. You MAY NOT enter the racer parking area with your sled during the race without going through the pit area / racer parking area entrance, (located along the back of the pit area). Entering the racer parking area with your sled during the race in any other fashion WILL result in a black flag for that sled/racer. Pit activity will be monitored.
-If a sled/racer is black flagged or out of the race in any other fashion, that sled MUST be placed back into trailer and not appear back on the course. The black flagged racer/team MAY NOT ride another sled or join another team for the entirety of the race. Black flagged racers may spectate, but must not interfere with the race, the racers, or race officials for the entirety of the race.
-YOU are responsible for signing up in the right class and lining up on time for the race.
-Smude's new transponder unit will be used for lap counting... YOU are responsible for putting the correct transponder tags on the correct sled. If the tags are mixed up it completely messes up the counts.
-YOU are responsible for your pit area cleanliness.
Additional Notes:
-Length of race may be changed on race day due to track conditions.
-Officials reserve the right to make changes before race day. These changes will be announced before the race.
-Disqualified sleds will forfeit entry fee and points.
-All penalties and disqualifications will be determined and enforced by race officials and must be accepted by participants without question.
-This is for fun and entertainment. If anyone takes this to seriously I will fart in your general direction.
***In the Pure Stock Relic, Relic, HR, & HD classes no changes or modifications are allowed unless they are specifically allowed by these rules. If these rules do not SPECIFICALLY ALLOW a change or modification then it MUST be assumed that the change or modification IS NOT ALLOWED.
NEW CLASS!!!

Introduction
Due to the Decline in One Lunger Racing, The purpose for this class is to make it very easy for enthusiasts to enter a race without having to over-engineer a vintage snowmobile. To be able to be competitive at a much lower budget. Running low horsepower motors, giving these motors and other sled brands a purpose for their existence…
