Welcome
Welcome to my webpage. I am currently a Lecturer of Economics with the Lacy School of Business at Butler University. I teach primarily Principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics.
I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from Tulane University in 2016. I graduated from Ball State University with a B.A. in International Business with a focus in Economics. I worked for the Indiana State Legislature in their non-partisan Legislative Services Agency as a Senior Fiscal Analyst for two years following my PhD.
My research interests are education policy, public economics, and inequality and poverty. Specifically, I am interested in the education market structure and its implications for charter school reform, and the inequality of education in the United States. My current research focuses on the use of a state-level charter authorizer in New Orleans, and what it means for both policy and student outcomes.
