Wednesday and Thursday each week:
Our timetable has been adjusted to accommodate the restrictions of social distancing and our belief that listeners appreciate weekly updates of local news while we are all more isolated.
Each Wednesday, when the most recent edition of Welwyn Hatfield Times has just been published, our editor decides which items are appropriate for inclusion in WHATnews. These articles are then recorded by a team of readers at home, each Wednesday afternoon. The WHATnews recordings are edited and compiled on Wednesday evening, and each Thursday morning WHATnews is copied to CD and distributed.
