The Confessions of St. Augustine is an autobiographical work by St. Augustine of Hippo.
It was originally written in Latin between 397 AD and 398 AD, under the name of "Confessiones".
The book consists of 13 books and basically gives the reader an insight to St. Augustine's
life and youth--a life full of sin that was then followed by the conversion to Christianity.
