Plateu of Mato Grosso

The plateu of Mato Grosso is situated on the Brazil inland. It is an highland area

that is part of the state Mato Grosso. The plateu has an anverage elevation of

600m (2,000 feet) above sea level and, in addition, it is the origin of the Xingu River.
