The Federative Republic of Brazil is a country located on the east central coast of South America. It is the largest country on the South American continent and according to the United Nations it has a population of around 184,184,000 people. Its capital city is Brasília, situated in the southeastern part of the country. Other major cities are Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
