Agamemnon is also a character from Greek mythology. Agamemnon, the son of Artreus and the brother of Menelaus, was the leader of the Greek forces during the Trojan War. Agamemnon is known as the husband of Clytemnestra and the father of Iphigenia, Electra, and Orestes. In order to get better winds he sacrificed his daugther Iphigenia to the goddess Artemis. As a consequence, his wife killed Agamemnon.
