Fox-trot

Fox – trot is a ballroom dance, which was introduced around 1914.

It is said, that the dance was named after the Harry Fox, because in 1913 one of his

acts included a trotting step. The fox – trot music is in 4/4 time syncopated rhythm.

Chassés (step side, close step) and quarter turns are the basically steps. Fox – trot

is very popular in Europe and America.
