Shetland is situated at the top of England, 960 km north of its capital city London. More than a hundred islands, of which only fifteen are inhabited by humans, cover 145 km between Fair Isle and the Out Stack, Britain’s most northern point. Shetland is home to the Shetland ponies, the Vikings and the well- known sweaters.
