“New York City” is situated on the northeast coast of the USA and in the southeast of the state New York, at the estuary of the Hudson River and the East River, which flow into the Atlantic Ocean. The city, that is also known as “The Big Apple” or “The city that never sleeps”, is subdivided into five boroughs: Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island. With its 8,336,697 inhabitants New York is the biggest city of the United States.
