James Abbott McNeill Whistler

Etching is “the act or process of making designs or pictures on a metal plate, glass, etc., by the corrosive action of an acid instead of by a burin.”1 This short story talks about the etchings made by the American artist James Abbott McNeill Whistler 2. He was active in the 19th century and known, amongst other arts, for “his brilliant etchings and lithographs.”3
