Europe

Europe is the second smallest continent in the world. It is enclosed by the Arctic Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Ural mountains in Russia. It is divided in Western Europe, Central Europe and Eastern Europe. It is located in the Northern Hemi­sphere and has four different seasons. ¹

Europe consists of forty-seven countries, including Russia and Turkey. It “has the largest economy in the world with Germany and the United Kingdom being the most economically developed countries.” ²
