Elisabetta Sirani (1638 - 1665) is an Italian Baroque painter who lived in Bologna. Some relevant paintings of hers include her Self-Portrait as Allegory of Painting ca. 1658 and Virgin and Child ca. 1663.
She is mentioned as the artist that painted the miniature portrait Bernini used as reference for his sculpture of Duchess Violante.[1]
