West Indies (Diagnosis)

The West Indies are a region in the Atlantic Ocean which include several islands such as Cuba, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. The term “West Indies” stems from Christopher Columbus’ assumption that he had reached India, and West comes from its cardinal point (west of India/ America).

The predominant weather on those Islands is characterized by its tropical climate with an average of approximately 28°C.[i]
