Medusa

Medusa is a Gorgon, a monster figure, and one of three sisters in the Greek mythology. She is the only one of the siblings who is not immortal. She is an ugly woman with hair which is made out of snakes. But sometimes she is also described as a beautiful woman. Medusa has the ability to kill people in a special way; as soon as somebody looks in her eyes, he or she turns to stone. One of the most known legends of Medusa is the story how she got killed by the Greek hero Perseus.
