Sandy Hook

Sandy Hook in New Jersey is a 1,665-acre large barrier peninsula, with a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline. Sea Captain Henry Hudson discovered Sandy Hook in the early 1600’s. Sandy Hook has a little seaside town named Highlands and due to its seven-mile stretch of ocean and bay beaches, the peninsula is a popular getaway for Manhattan’s residents to go swimming or relaxing.
