Paris

Paris is a city in France and also its capital. Paris can be found in the north-central part of France. It is located along the river Seine and can be found about 230 miles upstream from the river’s mouth of the English Channel. France’s capital shows a great range of altitude since it varies from 430 feet at the butte of Montmartre to just 85 feet in the Grenelle area. Paris is formed by twenty arrondissements, which are municipal districts; each of them has its own mayor.
