Hotel Drouot

Being the oldest public auction house in the world, Hotel Drouot, is nowadays just called Drouot. It offers a great range of paintings, furniture and art objects from all periods. Drouot is not just an auction house; moreover, it serves as museum where people can come and take a look at the different exhibition windows. Today, Drouot owns twenty-one auction rooms with more than hundred auctioneers. Each year covers around 3,000 sales, selling approximately 600,000 items.
