According to the Columbia Encyclopedia, the Champs Élysées is a renowned avenue in Paris leading from the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe. The Champs Èlysees Avenue offers a great variety of nice little cafés, luxurious shops, galleries and museums. This avenue was begun by Louis XIV and completed by Louis XV, leading through the open country until the early 19th century.
