5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.
I refer to this verse anytime things in my life change.
Scott H. (R.I.P.)
7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner... 12 For I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.
Paul's encouragement to Timothy reminds me that we are indwelled with the Holy Spirit of the Living God and Christ. That unfathomable relationship is one of power. And as a result, I am convicted NOT to be ashamed of the gospel or of our Lord and gives me assurance of my salvation and of God's awesome power and nature.

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. 16 I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit, 17 and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, 19 and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
This verse hits the very essence of life.
Paul J.
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
This verse magnifies that the Lord paid for any sin ever committed, and it was fortold 700 years before Christ.

3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; 4 each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
We are called to be Servants of The Way, as Yahusha (Jesus) was a servant to each of us.

8 This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to recite it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do. 9 Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
From time to time you get lazy, this verse strengthens and convicts me.
John D.
6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
Jesus has saved me from myself so many times.
