Ideas for Den-Run Pack-Wide Events/Activities

As a den, running a pack-wide activity/event does not just provide an opportunity to spend time together as a pack. It also provides your den cubs with an opportunity to demonstrate and practice leadership and to let their personal interests shine. Encouraging your den cubs to get involved in the decision process of choosing a pack-wide event/activity, will promote interest and ownership of their actions and in addition provides an opportunity to collaborate.

It is the hope of the Pack Leadership that all dens will run at least one event/activity at some point during the year.

Here is a list of suggestions for pack-wide activities your den could choose to run. Of course you may choose activities not already mentioned below.

• Bike Ride

• Sporting Event (Rock Cats, Wolfpack, Local Highschool Teams, etc.)

• CT Science Center

• Day Hike

• Home Depot Workshop

• Visit the Zoo

• Winter Carnival

• Dinosaur State Park
