Neighbourhood Plan
The Weston and Basford Neighbourhood Plan was originally Made on the 16 November 2017.
The Plan was modified in July 2023 to take account of changes in both National and Local policy. The plan area covers the old Weston and Basford Parish. A further update will be required to extend the area to include the whole of new parish of Weston and Crewe Green.
The Weston & Basford Neighbourhood Plan modification was made on the 20 February 2024. The plan and associated documents can be viewed on the Cheshire East Neighbourhood plan page and now forms part of the statutory planning process giving added support to the Local Plan for Cheshire East in the determining of planning applications within the parish:

Weston and Crewe Green Neighbourhood Plan
The Weston and Crewe Green Neighbourhood Plan is being produced by the Parish Council and will seek to replace the Weston and Basford NP once made.
Regulations 5, 6 and 7 - Neighbourhood Area Designation:
The Weston and Crewe Green NP neighbourhood area was designated on the 8 March 2024.
