In addition, the PAC fundraisers have allowed us to undertake bigger projects at WMS:

2019 - present: Currently WMS is building an outdoor learning space to allow our students and teachers to expand their learning space outside of the classroom.

2017-18: The PAC sponsored the refurbishing of two display cases in the WMS Auditorium and Gym foyers, in addition to giving the surrounding tile and old wood paneling a facelift. Improvements were also made to the sound system in the WMS Auditorium.

2016-17: The WMS Student Cabinet wanted to make the cafeteria a brighter, more welcoming place, so the PAC sponsored an "Extreme Makeover" of the WMS Cafeteria. The old wood paneling was painted a fresh color, and a television and board games were purchased.

2015-16: The PAC purchased new furniture (pictured below) for the library. Additionally, two book fairs allowed us to purchased $4000 worth of books for the library.

2013: The PAC held a fundraiser to sell Boston Strong T-shirts in honor of Deb Downes, the former WMS assistant principal, whose son and daughter-in-law both lost legs in the Boston Marathon bombings. We were able to raise $8,000 by selling these t-shirts throughout the district. A framed picture of the children wearing their T-shirts (shown below) was presented to Deb at graduation along with the check.

The WMS PAC is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
