Changes to the Bylaws - 2012

There are several proposed changes to the Civic Association Bylaws that we will be discussing at the May 15, 2012 meeting. In general, we are revising the duties of the Association officers, and consolidating the positions of Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary into a single officer. We are also officially removing the requirement to use Robert’s Rules of Order at the meetings (a requirement that has been ignored for some time). We have also made a few minor changes to clarify other points.

Below is a comparison of the current and proposed bylaws. Words in red have been deleted. Words in blue have been added or moved.
