Kicking off the 2014-15 year

Hello Westford --

It's autumn again, and that means time to form DI teams!

Flyers are going out right now, to all Westford students in kindergarten through 5th grade, and others are welcome to register as well. Registration will be open for 2 weeks, and I'm sure we will have many interested kids because this program is tons of fun.

HOWEVER, last year the majority of the kids could not get onto any team :-( This was because not nearly enough adults were willing to become Team Managers.

Please consider becoming a Team Manager, and I will help to collect an appropriate group of eager smart creative children for your team. A day of FREE training helps all Team Managers to get oriented. This will be held 1st November 2014 with a hundred other managers across the state, where you will get informed and energized for the activities ahead!

Deadline for student registrations is 18th October 2014.

Deadline for volunteering as a Team Manager is anytime, the sooner the better, through 1st December 2014.

Training for Team Managers is mandatory and will be in Grafton MA on 1st November 2014.

Second training for Team Managers (about your team's chosen Challenge) will be on 10th January 2015.
