I am an Army War Veteran that graduated with a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies in 2018, and a Bachelor Degree in Biology & the Biomedical Sciences, and a Bachelor Degree in Biology Education, in the year 2014.
I would like to formally express my interest in being a leader with in your company. I believe that my diverse work experience, along with my extensive background in education makes me an ideal candidate.
As you will note on my resume, my previous work experience has been in improving learning outcomes for students in low socioeconomic communities. I am a dedicated professional with over four years of experience in education with a solid understanding of what it takes to prepare students for college and/or a future career. In addition to creating curriculums for various core subjects, my experience also includes; developing and implementing high quality instructional strategies and developing curriculum maps, course creations, and keystone creations. My time in the classroom has developed me as a strategic leader, which is why I am ready for the next phase in my educational career. I do have Medical Office experience as well that I would love to discuss in person.
What sets me apart from other candidates is my passion to advocate for improving public education. I strongly believe that all students, despite their background, are entitled to a great education. Having an educational background in leadership studies has provided me with a unique combination of skills. Not only am I analytical, but I consider myself to be an inspirational leader. With these as my strengths, I believe I possess the skills necessary to make a strong contribution to City College.

Educational Leadership:
· Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, monitoring, and assessing data, and utilizing data indicators for programs.
· Analyzing and improving the quality and effectiveness of educational programs.
· Experience with proposing educational programs to the Board of Trustees.
· An innovative teacher with a successful background in motivating students, parents, and other teaching staff, while fostering a collaborative environment and cultivating strong relationships.

While I currently hold a position with Lauderdale Lakes Middle School as a Biology teacher, I am eager to make a larger impact.
