We suggest lodging at the historic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa (3649 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside, CA 92501). The Mission Inn, a National Historic Landmark, spans an entire city block in downtown Riverside and is known for its grandiose Spanish Mission-style architecture. The conference rate for WeBiG attendees before Sept. 21, 2022 will be $159/night per room before taxes. There is no online code - Please call the hotel (951-784-0300) and let them know you would like to reserve a room and are attending the conference. If you call after the Sept. 21st deadline, they cannot guarantee room rate or availability.

The Mission Inn has a number of on-site dining facilities, and there are many different restaurants and bars an easy walkable distance in the downtown Riverside area. On-site self-parking daily, hourly, or valet parking can be provided by the Mission Inn Hotel for a fee. There are also local garages and some free street parking around downtown Riverside.

The conference will be held at the UCR Arts California Museum of Photography (3824 Main Street, Riverside CA 92501), which is located approximately 3 minutes walking from the Mission Inn.

Weather in Riverside during late October is generally pleasant, and more akin to summer weather than Fall. Temperatures are usually in the 80s during the day and mid-50s at night, as is usual with a city in an inland coastal desert.
