About Us

The idea of a park became reality on the Bartlett farm in 1964. Clarence Bartlett decided to build a dam between two distinctive hills north of the farmhouse. The West Central Chapter of the Izaak Walton League requested the use of the park for their meetings. In return for the use of the park the Ike's would provide manpower and money to maintain Bartlett Park. On March 28, 1992, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bartlett donated their beloved Bartlett Park, a 23 acres, to the West Central Chapter of the Izaak Walton League. In June of 1994 the Bartlett's again donated 5.9 acres, for the site of a new clubhouse.
