WESC

Thank you to Mostafa Hussien who is the one who told me about the WESC camp in the first place and is the main reason behind my joining it. Thanks to Mostafa also for his amazing session about Team Building. Thanks to Dominique De Bruin who has inspired us with his around-the-fire right-brain evening visualization session that turned out to be about permaculture! Thanks to Dominique also for his very interesting presentation about permaculture. Thanks to Will Bates from 350.org who has inspired and actively trained us on using the Story Telling technique for campaigning and on designing and carrying out campaigns.

Thanks to Samah Abaza for receiving us at WESC in her friendly and lively way. Thanks to Sara El Sayed for handling the whole process well and for being flexible enough to adapt herself and the program to be inline with the wishes of and feedback from the climate interns despite her immense responsibilities.

Thanks to the lovely Interns who made the atmosphere both fun and elevating and for the climate ambassadors who were fun to be with and who have helped us a lot during the camp by participating with their own activities and by providing us with direct help as we worked on our own activities.

I'd love to thank Aurelia Weintz for preparing some lovely plants from WESC for me to plant back home in Cairo. I'll try to take the best care of them and dream about keeping them to seed.

Bikya

I would also like to thank Yasmin Radwan who has provided me and others with a very interesting and immensely enriching creative writing workshop at Bikya two weeks prior to the WESC camp. I would like to thank Bikya Book Cafe for hosting that workshop, I would also love to thank those very interesting and fun companions who have attended the creative writing workshop and who have helped inspire me and get my writing juices flowing with their highly creative writings.

And foremost and before everything else thank you God for providing me and everyone else with this once-in-a-lifetime experience at WESC!
