Process 1

– My Ukraine

• Think about our country.                                                                                                         -   - What is Ukraine for you?                                                                                                             - How does it look like?                                                                                                               - How do you want other people to see your  Ukraine?

• Go to the file  `Which pair am I in?`on Task page .

• Go to the file  `Pair Task` on Task page. Work in pairs. Look at the net resources on the page `Credits` .

• You will see the links on the page. You can click on needed headline to read a bit more about it.

Process 2

 – Summaries to the editorial board

• Choose the tasks and prepare 2 slides of Power Point Presentation (PPP) to each category:

! Not more than 5 sentences for each slide

• You are going to present your  slides  to the Editorial Board of your movie. (The Editorial Board is  the class ).( individual work)

• Present your slides to the Board, comment on them. Remember to include phrases from the ``Useful Phrases`` file below. 

• The Editorial Board tell you their decision at the end of the presentations.

• Improve your slides.

• Choose a melody to your categories. ( pair work)

Process 3

– Producing ‘My Ukraine` presentation

• You are now going to produce ‘My Ukraine` presentation, with the slides (approved by the Editorial Board) for each of the categories:

 -Ukraine: history of great people.

- Nature of Ukraine

- Cities of Ukraine

- Traditions and customs

- Crafts

- Education Science Technology

- Ukrainian language

- Sport

- Ukrainian art

• As the editing team of `My Ukraine` presentation, you now need to put your separate slides together into one presentation. You will need to discuss the following issues with your group:

- What will the cover slide of `My Ukraine` movie  look like?

- What order will you put the slides in?

- Which melodies would you use?

- Will they all have the same headline font and style, the same layout, the same number of photos, or will each slide style be different?

- What design  will you use?

- Who will be responsible for making movie?

• Once you have decided on this, you need to work together to produce`My Ukraine` movie.

 Process 3

– Producing ‘My Ukraine` movie.

• save the presentation format in Figure formate JPEG;

• start a movie program Movie Maker;

• import pictures (slides) and drop them on the timeline.

• add video effects to each slide;

• add transition effects between slides;

• check the demo movie and improve the demonstration of slides with time needed to watch and read slides;

• import melodies and drop it to the timeline, improve the length of melodies to each part of the movie according to categories;

• add the missing headlines or inscriptions;

• check the demonstration of movie;

• save the movie.
