Welcome to the webpage of Yutaka ISHII

I am Yutaka Ishii, a professor of mathematics at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. My research area is dynamical systems; in particular, complex dynamics, symbolic dynamics, and fractals. My recent focus is to investigate the parameter space of some particular family of maps such as the (real and complex) Hénon family and the Lozi family. I am also interested in the visualization of 4-dimensional spaces by using virtual reality systems.
