Open this page in Google Chrome. If you don't have Google Chrome, please download and install it.
Install Brackets text editor. (Go to brackets.io, click on the Download Brackets 1.x button and follow instructions). If you're using a chromebook, we'll use a different app, but for this class, a non-chromebook may be easier.
Create a folder on your computer titled 'JSCourse' (without the quotation marks).
Sign in to Google Chrome using your LPS google account (lpsk12.org account). This will allow you to sync your bookmarks, apps and extensions. (Screencast 1 for this - 0:59)
If it's not already showing, make sure your Bookmarks Bar is showing. (Turn it on in the View menu.) Then:
Create a folder in the bookmarks bar titled 'JavaScript'. (Right-click or control-click on the Bookmarks Bar, choose Add Folder.)
Go to each of the following links (they will open in a new tab) and bookmark them, adding each bookmark into the JavaScript folder you created above.
