Team Rules

1. Players must be at the court and ready to play at the designated time for practice and matches.

2. Lateness will only be permitted under certain circumstances and at the coaches' discretion.

   • Doctors appointment

   • Staying after for help with a note

3. Three unexcused absences will result in dismissal from the team.

4. Athlete must have their uniform in order to participate in a match.

5. Cursing and/or unsportsmanlike conduct is unacceptable during practice or a match.

   • During a match, each warning will result in loss of a point, then a game, then the match.

   • This might also result in possible termination from the team.

   • The coaches reserve the right to withdraw a player from any match at any time due to unsportsmanlike behavior.

6. During matches, players not on court must be supporting their teammates. Failure to do so will be considered a serious offense.

7. No cell phones during practices or matches.

8. At the end of every practice and match, coaches will dismiss players.

9. All trash (water bottles, etc.) must be cleaned up and thrown out at the end of every practice and match.

10. Hazing of any kind is considered a serious offense, resulting in termination from the team.

These rules are in addition to any and all school rules, which will be considered in effect at all times. Players are reminded that they are representatives of West Deptford High School and should strive to present the school in a positive light.
