Welcome to the On-line Chapel.
April, 2009 - While visiting St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI, I was struck by these beautiful stained glass windows in an otherwise very modern church (with great art). The windows are apparently from another church building that was being torn down. Because there are 12 windows it is pretty clear that these are the 12 apostles, however, they are completely UNLABELED. Even the priest didn't seem to know who was who. How many can you identify? I have numbered them, one through twelve. left to right, as they appear in the church. The world will be a better place if you can help me solve . . .
