Research Interests

My main research interests are 1) data analysis, 2) data assimilation and 3) large-scale high performance numerical computations on fluid dynamic process in the ocean such as coastal circulations, storm surges and internal waves.

Recent ongoing work also focuses on transdisciplinary research which includes: 1) data-driven image transformation, 2) remote sensing data mining and 3) analysis and microplastic spreading from coastal area in a Lagrangian view.
